It was a remarkable experience participating in such a large-scale art festival. At the biennale, together with Berlin-based artist Stefan Klein, co-editor and designer of the publication, we presented the book about Davyd Chychkan, With Ribbons and Flags.

The atmosphere was warm and friendly, with many interesting conversations, new connections, and contacts.

It is especially moving to see how Davyd’s legacy continues to live a life of its own, speaks about the anti-authoritarian movement in Ukraine, and represents it far beyond the country.
