We’re back from our humanitarian mission to the Kharkiv region

Together with Freefilmers, we visited two accommodation centres for internally displaced people. We brought fridges, water heaters, microwaves, kettles, electric cookers, bedding and towels for people who had been forced to leave their homes because of the war.
The first centre is currently home to 167 people from frontline areas. The second hosts more than 300 residents, many of whom have recently been evacuated from areas of active fighting. People continue to arrive, but there is already a shortage of places.
That is why these trips matter. Sometimes solidarity takes the form of ordinary household items — things that become difficult to access after losing one’s home, but are essential for rebuilding everyday life.
Thank you to everyone who supported this fundraiser. Thanks to you, this trip became possible.
