In memory of Misyats

With deep sorrow and grief, we announce the death of our comrade from the group we supported — with the call sign Misyats (“Moon”).
In Belarus, he was an active participant in the protests against dictatorship and was repeatedly repressed for his stance.
Since 2023, Misyats had been fighting as part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. At first, he served as a combat medic, saving lives near Bakhmut. Later, he served in a fire support company, then in an engineering (sapper) unit. Since 2024, he was part of a mortar unit — where he ultimately gave his life.
“In the mortar unit, he worked on calculations and helped us tremendously,” recalls one of his comrades.
“He was nearly irreplaceable. He trained people in engineering and medicine, always checked the medical kits and supplies. He carried much of the responsibility — from analyzing fire results to complex calculations. Many times, he was the one who discovered why the firing wasn’t working — whether it was a mortar malfunction or a shortage of shells.”
Eternal memory to the fighter.
